Founder Engine evaluates startup ideas. We collect the data needed to authenticate users, process idea submissions, store saved evaluations, and operate the service.

What we collect

We may collect your ConsentKeys identifier, pseudonymous account fields, idea submissions, generated evaluation outputs, and operational logs related to product use.

How we use data

We use this information to run the evaluation pipeline, save your results, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve the product.

Analytics

We use self-hosted PostHog analytics through logs.petrichorlabs.ca to understand where users abandon the submission flow, which reports get opened, and which changes improve completion and product clarity. We use this only for internal measurement and product improvement, not for ad targeting.

Identity protection

Founder Engine uses ConsentKeys for privacy-preserving identity. If Founder Engine changes identity providers, if ConsentKeys changes providers, or if the service changes control, ConsentKeys must not reveal your real identity by default without a separate explicit user action.
